Antonietta Giovanna Faccone

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Antonietta our loving mother and nonna. Surrounded by the comfort of her family, mom passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025. 'Ninetta' was born in Morrone del Sannio Italy on June 24, 1944 and immigrated to Canada in 1963. Ninetta is predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Roberto, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, devotion and dedication to family. Ninetta will be forever lovingly remembered by her children Angelo (Laura) and Mario (Rosalita), and her cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Maia, Luca, Vanessa and Marco. She also leaves behind her brother Salvatore (Rina) and niece Michela, along with numerous dear friends and extended family in Canada and Italy. Ninetta was known for her bountiful vegetable garden, her prized roses and beautiful flowers surrounding her home, her amazing sewing and embroidery skills, her delicious family dinners and her famous bread and nonna-cookies. Our mother was our heart, a kind and generous woman with tenacious courage, grace, boundless love and devotion to her family. Her spirit lives on in our hearts and memories and in the guidance and teachings she gave us all.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 6:30-8:00pm at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 555 Slocan St, Vancouver. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park - South Mausoleum, 4000 Imperial St, Burnaby.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Agency in her honor would be very much appreciated.
