It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our father Antonio on November 18, 2011. Predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years, Maria Odete, Antonio will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Isilda (Alfredo) and son Elmano (Esther) and his 4 grandchildren, James, Michael, Nicki, Anthony and 5 great grandchildren, Alicia, Sophia, Murphy, JJ, and Malcolm. Antonio grew up in Covao da Carvalha, Portugal and came to Canada in 1955. Antonio was known for his great sense of humour and sharp wit that was alive and well even in his final days. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 28 at 10am at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Vancouver (1423 East 13 Ave.). We love you Dad / Vovo.
