Ascelsa was born May 1st, 1932 in Bitritto, Bari, Italy. She immigrated to Canada with her young family in 1965. Ascelsa was predeceased by her son Gino and is survived by her loving daughter Rosa and extended family and friends. Ascelsa will be remembered for her energy, generosity, hard work and determination but most of all for her infectious smile that always lit up a room. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street. Burnaby, British Columbia from 1:00PM to 2:00PM.
