Betty was born on December 11, 1940 in Hong Kong where she attended both primary and secondary school before starting her career in banking. At the bank, Betty would meet her future husband KC and they would marry in March 1968. Shortly after getting married, Betty gave birth to three sons between 1969 and 1974. In late 1974, the family moved to Vancouver Canada and Betty continued her career in banking. Betty and family continued to live in Vancouver where she would spend the rest of her life.
Betty gave her all to her family putting her spouse KC and children Mark, Mervin and Jacques first. She dedicated much of her life to providing for her family and ensuring her children had the best education to enable them to achieve more than they could. Seeing the world was one of Betty’s passions and this continued throughout her retirement years when KC and Betty would continue to travel the world. Betty was often described as a generous and caring human being that only ever wanted the best for her family.
Betty is survived by her three sons and also leaves behind her two daughter-in-laws Carmen and Amanda and four grandchildren Isaac, Chloe, Christian and Shay.
