One of 8 sons born to Elisabeth Lowka.
Immigrated to Vancouver in 1957. Founding Partner of Canadian Faserit Paint Ltd., in 1963.
1969 He married Veronica and soon they started a family, Stephen 1970 and Brian 1973.
1996 On medical advice Bruno retired from painting, just finishing his last project on Nanaimo's shores. He became an avid member of the cruiser's brigade.
As he tired of that, he became an Opi, the best job he ever had! He was everywhere with them and loved it.
Bruno left behind a family who loved and will miss him, Veronica, Stephen, Brian and Barb who made his eyes light up, Brianne and Shianne of whom he was the proudest of all.
