Mrs. Cheang Van Kun Yiu

Yiu, Cheang Van Kun

1922.5.29 - 2026.4.29

Born in Chaoyang County, Guangdong Province, China Van Kun endured the Japanese invasion in her late teens before marrying Kwei Ting Yiu in 1947 and starting a family. In 1954 she moved with her husband and young children to Shantou City. She continued to Macao in 1961 and then Hong Kong in 1966 — joining her husband who had gone there earlier. She tended home and raised 6 children, finally immigrating to Vancouver in 1980.

Van Kun was dedicated to her family, spending all of her days with one or more children. She was clever, humorous and playful with a sharp wit. She will be lovingly remembered forever by her family.

先慈姚門鄭氏雲娟太夫人 祖籍廣東省潮陽縣, 痛於公元二零二六年四月二十九日(農曆丙午年三月十三日)上午八時十分, 壽終內寢於溫哥華家中, 積閏享壽一百零六歲，不孝等隨侍在側，親視含殮, 遵禮成服.

擇於公元二零二六年五月十一日（星期一）下午一時正 在本拿比科士蘭殯儀館（Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC)舉行喪禮 , 出殯奉移歸土, 卜葬於紀念墓園

姚門鄭氏雲娟太夫人生於公元一九二三年農曆五月二十九日（至今已逾期頤）幼承庭訓 知書達禮 溫婉嫺雅 正直端莊 勤儉持家 善導晚輩 母儀足式

正值四代同堂 頤養天年之際 遽然駕鶴西遊 天人永隔 萬分不捨
