Mum was an orphan since she was a little girl. She went through many wars and overcame lots of obstacles during her life. She was kind, friendly, intelligent, easy going, and loved helping others. She devoted her life in raising her children. Family was everything for her.
Mum will live on within her children, children-in-law: Yen (Lap), Grace, Fanny, Nien (Kathy), Luong (Brandy), and all of her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.
She will be lovely missed by her god daughter, Sarah To, in Brampton, Ontario, relatives and friends in Canada, Australia and around the world.
Our special thanks to Dr. Rod Ma of HomeVive Program for his dedicated care and kindness in helping us to take care of our mother, to the whole team of nurses from VCH as well as to the tremendous support from the Canadian Red Cross Equipment Program.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 29th at 9:00am in the Chapel at Ocean View, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC. Those who so desire may attend a viewing on Wednesday, July 28th at 7:00pm – 9:00pm.
