Cheri. You were a positive, thoughtful work friend who seriously cared how my day was going. We used to meet up in the gym, discuss our days and just chat while doing a class. I had a hard-nosed job and you frequently came to my rescue, to keep me sane, make me smile and just celebrate the small things I had. Be thankful. It was hard to hear about your sickness as I retired around that time and I couldn’t keep up with you like I wanted. But your kindnesses with always remain in my heart. Thank you.. xo

Cheri, thank you for being such a lifelong friend of my mom’s.  A memory I’ll always have is of all the hard work you did during my grade 12 grad cruise! I remember walking into the boat and seeing you and my mom setting up all the decor. Thank you for your thoughtfulness too. You’ll be missed.

Cheri was always a bright light  with a beautiful smile.  May she rest in peace with lots of love around  her.

Cheri I cannot thank you enough for all the memories you made possible for Alex and I growing up. You always made me feel welcomed and included into the family and invited me to come along wherever you and Alex were going, you were like a second mother to me.
We spent countless days going to the Bog for nature walks along with trips to Tofino, different parks,  beaches and even Disneyland. You allowed Alex and I to grow up and explore on our own all while getting in trouble countless of times you understood we were just boys. A few memories I cherish the most with you and Alex include;
Taking surfing lessons in Tofino and spending hours biking through the town and various trails.
Spending an entire day at Disneyland waiting in lines and probably riding space mountain 3-4 times (that was our favourite).
Getting lost in the bog with Alex and Kyle and having you call our names like we were 3 lost dogs lol
Sleepovers at your house which felt like every weekend and laughing our asses off at stupid jokes and impressions that us boys always did.
Cheri without your love, kindness and being such a cool mom our childhood could not have felt as warm as it did all thanks to you.
You will always be in my heart and prayers thank you.

I'm deeply saddened to hear about Cheri's passing. My heart goes out to her family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.

Cheri was more than just a colleague to me; she was a source of comfort, strength, and inspiration.  When I lost my mother to ALS, Cheri was one of the first people to reach out and offer her support. Her empathy, kindness, and understanding helped me navigate that dark period.

Cheri's courage and resilience in the face of her own ALS diagnosis were a testament to her remarkable spirit. Though her battle has ended, her memory, legacy, and impact on those of us who knew her will live on.

My deepest condolences to Cheri's family. I had the pleasure of having Cheri as my manager for several years before I retired. She was a good manager and a friend. I am very sad to hear about her illness and her passing.

Cheri was an amazing person who fought long and hard with that horrible disease. It breaks my heart to see such a beautiful vibrant young Mother have to go through this but she did it with grace a strength. 
I will always remember her beautiful smile and how she was in that gym everyday taking care of her body unfortunately the one thing that failed her in the end.
