

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl Ann Wong, age 66, of Vancouver, BC. She passed away peacefully at the Vancouver Hospice Society on December 21, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on May 5, 1958, in Vancouver, Cheryl was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Cheryl led a vibrant and meaningful life, excelling in her 40+ year career at Pacific Blue Cross and retiring as a Provider Relations Manager. She was also a devoted mother and role model to her two beautiful daughters and a world class traveler. Known for her infectious energy, Cheryl was often the life of the party. Whether discovering new restaurants or dancing to BTS, there was never a dull moment when she was around.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents Wai Yuen and Mow Jun, sister-in-law Teresa. Cheryl leaves behind her beloved husband, Lambert Low, daughters, Samantha (Sunny) Low and Tiana Low, brothers Martin, Neill (Isabella) and sister Leslie (Barry).
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Cheryl’s celebration of life service, which will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G 3M1. A graveside service will follow from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G 4A9.
Flowers may be sent to Forest Lawn Funeral Home by Sunday, January 12, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cheryl’s honor to the following charities:
• BC Cancer Foundation
• Vancouver Hospice Society
• VGH/UBC Hospital Foundation
Cheryl will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
