He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by his wife of 54 years, Lydia (Mychajlowska), as well as his sons Andrew (Lise), Chris (Stephanie), and Damian, along with his cherished grandchildren Amelia, Daniel, Victoria, and Maksym.
Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Daniel graduated from David Thompson Secondary School and furthered his education at UBC. After completing his studies at UBC, he embarked on a career in the pharmaceutical industry before transitioning to the local real estate sector in the 1980s, where he dedicated over 40 years of his life until his passing. Daniel had a passion for history, singing, community service, travel, and gardening. He was an active member of the Ukrainian community both locally and nationally. He was a long-standing executive member of several organizations, including but not limited to the Ukrainian Senior Citizens Housing Society, Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, Ukrainian Canadian Professional and Business Association of Vancouver, and the Ukrainian Fraternal Society.
