Dianna was a light in the world.  I will always cherish all her teachings and the incredible generosity of spirit and joie de vivre.  I got to know the wonderful Dianna when we were colleagues working to support newcomers and she quickly became a friend. My deepest sympathy to all the folks who were blessed to have known and loved her.  Joe my thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

When I was a new immigrant I was pointed to a body called MOSAIC that helped newcomers to Canada. They sent me to a local radio station where I found employment and a good friend named Dianna Lee. 15 years later, Dianna was coincidentally working at Mosaic and she invited my wife and me to be keynote speakers at their event to encourage and inspire new immigrants. I was intimidated but Dianna encouraged me and insisted I do it. Her persistence worked a little too well as she literally had to escort me off the stage after I continued yakking for 40 minutes. 

Your warmth, kindness, your supportive, friendly nature and above all, your infectious laugh will be sorely missed dearest Dianna!

I was a schoolmate of Dianna’s from Riverside Elementary to McPherson Park Jr and then on to Burnaby South. I remember her as being very gregarious,  having a keen eye for style and talented as was evident in the drawings she did highlighting fashions. After seeing her some years later after graduation at the Mongoli Grill in Richmond, I lost touch. Dianna was always very friendly and fun to be around. My condolences to her husband and extended family including her brother Larry.

I wish I had known. I wish we could have talked before this happened. We have such memories! You were my best friend for so many years.  You will always be with me.

Shocked and saddened doesn’t begin to describe it. I met Dianna on the first day of my first full-time job. I was 18 years old; she was 19. We were immediately friends, but only because of her generous heart. Shortly after. we took a road trip to Banff that would bond us for life. We had car trouble the whole way back, kept getting stuck in these tiny little towns. But here’s what I remember most about Dianna: In the middle of a sandstorm, crammed into a phone booth trying to find phone numbers and quarters, and she notices that the phone booth has great acoustics and why don’t we try a couple of songs while we’re here? You Are My Sunshine in two-part harmony. And that’s Dianna: someone who finds a song in the middle of a storm. What a gift. What a loss.

Dianna....I still can't believe she is gone. I met Dianna while working at MOSAIC and we quickly became friends. But she was more than a friend, she was a mentor and someone I looked upto. We shared many wonderful memories together and I will forever carry those memories in my heart.

I am so saddened and shocked by Dianna's passing.

I worked with Dianna for more than 25 years through Planet Bingo, Nandos and Mosaic as her graphics person. We were quick to become friends.

She had such a positive attitude towards life. She always spoke her mind and got right to the point. She was kind and always full of compliments. She was definitely one of a kind. I am so blessed to have been part of her life. I will miss her dearly.

Dianna was a dear friend for over 30 years. She was an incredibly quick witted and kind individual but with just the right amount of spice. I truly enjoyed our chats, our reminiscing of our youth and listening to the old 70's and 80's tunes that she enjoyed. Dianna had many friends, who like me, will miss her more than she could know. Dianna, I am incredibly sorrowful but as you say; "see you on the other side". I know you are already getting things comfy for our reunion. In peace, my friend.

I met Dianna in first grade at Riverside Elementary School. She always looked after me since I was the baby in the class. Those elementary years were memorable since we lived in a tight knit farming community. I admired her intelligence and knew she would be successful in life. We lost touch after high school since I moved to California but I was so happy to catch up with her at our 20th high school reunion.  Thoughts and prayers to Dianna’s family. She will be missed.

Still grappling with the emptiness that Dianna’s passing has left in our hearts. She was our fearless leader in many regards, always living life with integrity and perseverance with everything she set out to do. 

Dianna was more than a dear friend, she was a mentor, an example of how to live life to the fullest, a cheerleader, a radiant soul that could fill a room with light, laughter and warmth …she was family to me.

Oh that smile  … your wisdom and memories will live with me always. I miss you dearly pal … I feel blessed to have known you … thank you.

This was in the years when i use to visit RJ1200 and she was the marketing head. She always had a smile n motivated me n the many there .
It was her and the fab Shushma datt who gave me my radio name mumbai raj. Will miss her radiant smile !

R.I.P Dianna
She came into our life in 2001 at Nando’s as she was the head of marketing. Always so happy to see you. She was indeed a special soul and will be missed by my family.

I remember Dianna as a vibrant, strong individual. She had a zest for life that was wonderful to be around. Although I haven't kept in touch and won't be able to attend the service, the world is less bright for we have lost a shining star. Condolences to her family. RIP, Dianna.

Dianna a friend - elder sister - a amazing jem of a person who I have not only worked with but learned so much about life and how to look at life through the lens of positivity.

You will always be in my heart and my thoughts.

Dianna, my (almost) namesake with our birthdays less than a week apart. You were my first friend when I moved to Canada all those years ago. You reached out with a warm smile and wrapped me in laughter and your bold spirit when I was still a bewildered newcomer to this land. It was you who introduced me to  dim sum and helped me find my feet. You are not gone, my most beloved friend. You will live on in my heart, forever.

She was a very good soul, I still remember her smiling face, we have worked together, can not believe you are gone, my dear friend we will miss you. RIP 🙏

Dianna was an amazing woman who made me feel larger than life. She had the uncanny ability to make you feel you are the most important and accomplished person  on earth. She could do this so easily because she was filled with a light that shone brightly and warmly on others. 

To me, Dianna was larger than life itself. She will always be a hero to me for her ever positive approach to life, her grit and determination and ever positive attitude,  till her very last breath.

Knowing Dianna was a privilege I had, and will have for the rest of my life, as she will live on, in my memories for as long as I live.
