

Born on March 21st, 1938 in Grahamstown, South Africa, Edward was a man who lived a life anchored in Christian values, particularly the golden rule of the Bible

He married his beloved wife, Daphne, on July 10, 1966, and together they moved to Vancouver, BC and built a home filled with love to his children, Gregory, Christopher and Aidan, teaching them the importance of family and integrity
He spent most of his entire career teaching adults Chemistry for Academic Upgrading at the King Edward Campus in Vancouver. After retirement, he opened his own business and ran a small computer store building custom PC's for many years. When he finally decided to close shop, he was able to sit down and enjoy listening to classical and jazz music, grow vegetables in his garden and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren
He was a loving husband and dedicated father and is survived by his wife, Daphne; his children and partner/spouses, Gregory; Christopher & Nicole; Aidan & Dana; and his cherished grandchildren, Evan, Andrew and Lexis

A funeral service will be held on May 26th, 2026 at 10am at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VGH Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Blood Services
