We are deeply saddened by the passing of Emma Soda on January 23, 2016 at the age of 86 years. She is predeceased by her husband Umberto. She is survived by her loving family, sons: Luigi (Elizabeth), Francesco (Joyce); grandchildren: Umberto, Emmaline, Lillian, Lydia; great grandchildren: Taylor, Joseph, Phoenix; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Special thank-you to the Hilton Villa for Emma's care. Visitation will be held 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, January 29 at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings St. Burnaby, BC. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 2025 Napier St., Vancouver, BC. Entombment will follow at the South Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of BC.
