She was born September 20, 1926 in Gavro Nafpaktias, Greece, to George and Demetra Koutsogiannis.
In the early 1940’s, she fought in the Andartiko: The Greek Resistance. Shortly after that, she met and married the love of her life, Konstantinos, who preceded her in death in 1971.
Fotini had 10 children and was predeceased by her son Charalampos, and daughters Labrini and Demetra.
In 1980, Fotini immigrated to Canada with her youngest daughters. She was an incredibly strong and brave woman and devoted her life to her children and grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 2 at 10am, followed by a Celebration of Life afterwards. Both will take place at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial St, Burnaby.
Fotini will be buried abroad, in her hometown Nafpaktos, Greece, by her loving husband’s side.
