Born November 14, 1928 in Amato, Catanzaro Italy and passed away February 11, 2016 in Burnaby, BC. Francesco was predeceased by his wife Giovanna and daughter-in-law Maryann. He is survived by his loving family, children Peter (Marion), Leonora (Franco), Elena (Joe), Gilda (Tony), and Orlando (Lori); grandchildren Frank (Donna), Joseph (Diana), Christopher, Mike (Cindy), Nicholas (Liana), Andrea, Vanessa, Vincent, Racquel, Anthony, Nick, Dario and Tino; great-grandchildren Adriano, Alessia, and Cristina; sister Giuseppina; brothers Vittorio (Palma) and Salvatore (Gregoria) and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Holy Cross Church 1450 Delta Ave., Burnaby. Entombment to follow at the Abbey, Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to B.C. Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
