Franco Petra

It is with great sadness we are announcing the passing of Franco. He passed away peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, with family and friends by his side at age of 61. Franco fought his cancer with positivity, courage, and strength.

Franco is survived by his Wife of 15 years Mary, his mother Elena, his father Alfonso, his brother Carlo (Nancy), his brother Gianpiero (Rosetta), his nephew Alexander (Victoria), his niece Aleena (Duncan), his niece Julia (Christian), his stepdaughter Kerry, stepson Brad and his granddaughter Ruby. Franco was a loving husband and adored his family and friends. His passion was soccer and horse racing.

Franco's celebration of life will occur at 10:30 am on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at St. Matthews Parish, 16079 88th Avenue, Surrey, BC V4N1G3. In lieu of Flowers please consider a donation to the BC Cancer and/or Crohn's and Colitis Canada.
