It is with great sadness this May 2022, that we announce the passing of Franklin at the age of 42. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Maria Racanelli, sisters: Reyna and Yoselin, brother in laws: Herbert and Jose, nephews: Orlando, Leandro, Mateo and Marcos, grandparents: Reyna and George, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Frank was predeceased by his father, Tony.
He was born in the Dominican Republic and came to Canada at a young age. Frank grew up in Vancouver. He was friendly, helpful, and loved spending time with people. He enjoyed cooking, painting, working in the garden, and making people laugh. His favorite sport was soccer.
A Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, located at 4276 Hastings Street, in Burnaby, BC.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 1pm on Monday, May 30, 2022 at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, located at 555 Slocan Street, in Vancouver followed by the entombment at 2:30pm at the Ocean View Cemetery in the Abbey Mausoleum, located at 4000 Imperial Street, in Burnaby, BC.
