It is with profound sadness that the family of Fred Bevilacqua announces his passing on August 6, 2021 at the age of 72 years, after long battle with severe Alzheimer’s disease. Fred was born on October 21, 1948, in the Town of Altilia, in the Province of Cosenza Italy.
Fred will be greatly missed by his wife Randi (nee Olson) after almost 51 years of marriage; his son Johnny (Debbie); daughters Linnea, and Cheryl (Mike); grandchildren Emily, Christian, Nicholas, Liam, and Lucas. Fred is also survived by his brothers Giovanni (Emma), Umberto (Lucy), Palmo (Rosa), Tony (Sonia); sisters Elida (Mario) and Patricia; step-mother Franca; sister-in-law Domenica (Donato); brother-in-law Giuseppe (Lina); and a large extended family including numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, and cousins. Fred is predeceased by his father Giuseppe and his mother Fortunata (nee Sacco); his sisters Carmelina and Lina and brother Donato.
Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of British Columbia in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciated by the family.
