

Georgie, was a friend to many people and he was the first to give a helping hand. He loved the great Canadian outdoors for fishing, hunting, camping and playing soccer.
He was born in Liverpool, 3 years before the outbreak of the Second World War. He trained as an auto mechanic fixing Rolls Royces. He owned a chip shop in Liverpool with his wife Juliana. With two small children in hand the young family emigrated to Richmond B.C. in 1976, where George took on a job with Canadian Pacific Airlines which later became Air Canada.
George was not only a good cook, but he loved grilling all the seafood he caught from his fishing trips. Among his many talents George was very witty and many a laugh was had in his company. He was also a very talented crooner and was singing right up until his final days.
He leaves behind his wife Juliana of 56 years, his daughter Elaine (Gordon); his son Paul (Angela); grandchildren Amanda and Cameron and many siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Society of British Columbia.
