Gilbert G. Archambault passed away December 9, 2015 after a valiant battle with cancer. Born December 17, 1928 in Minitonas, Manitoba. He was predeceased by his son Richard, sister Marion Monib and brother Mitchel.
Survived by his loving wife Sanna, Sons Alvin and Dean (Diane), his sister Florida Grace (Frank), many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Gilbert spent his early years working on the family farm. He moved to Vancouver in 1952 with his wife Sanna where they raised their 3 sons.
Gilbert worked in a variety of industrial positions, finally his own business which he managed until retirement.
He was a great help and friend to all that knew him, always prepared to fix anything with a big smile.
Visitation will take place at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC, on December 20, 2015, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with the Funeral Service taking place December 21, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
