Gina Gargaro – Di Spirito

April 15, 1937 ' February 27, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Gina. A dedicated and positive influence in the lives of her family and friends. Born in Spezzano, Cosenza, Italy and passed away in Burnaby. Gina is survived by her loving family, husband Pasquale; children Fred Di Spirito (Lila), Carmela Busto (Joe) and Mary Anne Gabriele (Ralph); step-children Nick Gargaro (Nadia) and Susanna Padula (Mike); grandchildren Nicole, Michelle, Anthony, Michael, Steven, Christopher, Erica, Joseph, Jordan, Joshua, Angela, Amanda and Alanna; brothers and sisters Nick (Romana), Sam, Mario (Julie), Settino, Anna (Gordy); sisters-in-law Carmela and Terry; brothers-in-law Carmen (Aurelia) and Eliseo; many nieces nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her first husband Antonio Di Spirito; parents Giuseppe and Maria; brother Antonio; sister Irene; sister-in-law Diane and brother-in-law Domenico. Prayers will be offered at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1450 Delta Ave., Burnaby where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Entombment, The Abbey, Ocean View Burial Park.
