Giovanna passed away peacefully May 17, 2016 at the age of 82, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her family in Ontario, brothers Gianni (Rosa), Giuseppe, sister Silvia and many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind many close friends in Vancouver which she considered family as well. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 19th Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings St., Burnaby, B.C. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 20th at St. Helen's Catholic Church, 3860 Triumph St., Burnaby, B.C. The entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Creekside Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations, may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
