Giovanna Rubini passed away peacefully surrounded by love on March 3, 2017. Predeceased by her loving husband Lino of 45 years. Survived by her son Ralph and his wife Tanis; daughter Sophia; grandchildren Christina, Joey, Andrew, Jana, Lianna; treasured great-grandchildren Julia, Ava and Chloe. Nana will always be remembered for her devotion to her family and friends and her strength and perseverance of life. A special acknowledgment to the incredible staff at Eagle Ridge Hospital. A viewing will be held from 6:00pm'8:00pm on Sunday, March 12th at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings St., Burnaby, BC. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Monday, March 13th at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 525 Slocan Street, Vancouver, B.C. Entombment to follow at the Garden Mausoleum, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Ave., Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation.
