1931 – 2012
Our beloved husband, papa and nonno, born on August 10, 1931 in Mussolente, Italy, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 11, 2012 in Burnaby. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Teresa; daughters, Lisa (Celestino) and Silvana (Jeffrey); and six grandchildren, Stephen, Sean, Christopher, Cecilia, Spencer and Emma. Also remembered by his sisters, Luciana, Maria (Aldo), Pasquetta (Alberto), Lidiana (Giovanni), and Imelda (Ferdinando) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Pietro and Elisabetta, and brother, Antonio. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, 7455 Tenth Avenue, Burnaby on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum. The family would like to thank Dr. Yap and the nurses and staff at Normanna Care Home for their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Alzheimer Society of B.C. or the Normanna Foundation.
