Giuseppe Piccolo

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our father Giuseppe Piccolo of Burnaby, BC on February 2, 2026. Born in Mammola, Reggio Calabria Italy, he was a devoted husband to Angela and a loving father to Rita (Tony), Enzo (Sue) and Marisa. Predeceased by his father, Vincenzo and mother Maria Antonia.

He is also survived by his grandchildren Amelia (Mario), Julia (Ethan), Jacob (Tamika), Gavin, Grayson, Gabriel, Cassandra, and great-grandchildren Eliana and Marcel, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

He was a hard-working and dedicated man. He spent many years working throughout British Columbia as a labourer and working for CP and CN Rail. He was known for his love of gardening, cooking, and being a handyman. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 17th, 2026. Visitation at 10 am and Mass at 11 am at St Francis of Assisi Parish, 2025 Napier Street, Vancouver. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Funeral Home 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby at 1pm.

We find comfort in knowing that Dad’s legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
