It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Giuseppe Gaetano Troiano at the age of 87. Born in Pisticci, Matera, Italy, Giuseppe passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Giuseppe will be remembered by his loving wife of 64 years Emelde; three daughters Michelina (Franco), Linda (Rico), Gloria (Ken); and five grandchildren Giancarlo, Giuseppe (Lisa), Melisa (Shaun), Daniele and Massimo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, 7455 10th Aveneue, Burnaby, B.C. Entombment to follow at the Abbey Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the BC Lung Association.
