Hannelore was born on April 13, 1934 in Mannheim, Germany. She moved to Ocean Falls, Canada in 1957 and on March 30, 1963 she married Conrad Schmelzle. They raised two daughters, Gabriele and Cornelia.
Hannelore loved travelling with her husband and collecting teddy bears from everywhere they went. She also loved to spend her days with a good book on her sundeck or out in her garden. She was known for her quick wit and infectious smile which will be forever remembered.
Hannelore was preceded in death by her Mother and Father. She is survived by her Husband; Conrad, two Children; Gabriele and Cornelia, five Grandchildren; Dakota, Braydon, Bradley, Matthew and Kyle, and many other loved ones.
A private service will be held due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
