May 11th, 2013 of age 32, from acute myleoid leukemia.
He was born on May 10th, 1981 in Taipei, Taiwan.
He moved to Canada in 1996 with his family.
He attended Cariboo Hills Secondary School and graduated
from University of British Columbia with two degrees,
Biology and Computer Science.
He married Daisy Hsiao in 2010 summer.
He had been working for UBC IT department until his diagnosis in September 2012.
Ian is survived by his parents Davy and Faye,
his sister Joanne, and his wife Daisy.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at Ocean View Funeral Home chapel on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 9:30am.
Cremation service will be held in private.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the funeral service.
Family has prepared a reception immediately following the funeral service from 10:30am to 12:00pm.
