She was predeceased by her baby daughter Diane in 1950 and her husband Hugh in 1968. Iris is lovingly survived by her daughters Linda and Carol, her grandchildren Traci, Shawn, Bryan, Tyler, Michelle and her grandson Kolton.
Mom was a much loved and caring mother, grammy and great grammy. She had a kind spirit and was a giving person, going out of her way to help others. She was the matriarch of our family and had a strong presence with her church family and her family at Kiwanis Care Centre.
Her generosity and her warmth will be missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park "Normandy" (3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby) on Friday, September 3rd, 2010 at 11:00 am.
