Mr. Jack Kit Ping Lee

He passed away unexpectedly in his recent excursion to Vancouver. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patsy, his two sons Hingson and Jackson, his daughter Patricia, and his four grandchildren Anton, Sophy, Byron and Javen, his sisters Lily and Aile, and his niece Carol, and cousins and a host of friends who will miss him dearly. His memory will forever be a source of inspiration and love for all who knew him.

Jack was born in Saigon, Vietnam to Hang Ly （李杏傳） and Nhi Muoi Ly （陸喜弟）. He attended French high school (博愛) in Vietnam at ages 12-16, and then went to Hong Kong to finish high school at the Hong Kong Christian College (香港基教書院). After that, he went abroad to the US to study at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he studied electrical engineering. To pursue his love for the arts, he eventually left for Paris for further studies where he met his future wife.

Jack was a friend to many. He was a man of vibrant personality and always quick to lend a helping hand. He was known for his devotion to his family. He especially loved his weekly dinner gatherings with his family and especially with his grandchildren. He never hesitated to shower his grandchildren with endless toys and goodies every weekend.

A celebration of Jack’s life will be held at the Forest Lawn Home’s Chapel on Thursday, 12 September 2024 at 10:00am (Friday, 13 September 2024 at 1:00am Hong Kong Time).

李杰平 訃告

我們懷著深深的悲痛宣布李杰平（Jack Kit Ping Lee）的離世，他是一位善良、溫和且謙遜的丈夫、父親和祖父。

他在最近前往溫哥華的旅行中不幸離世，留下了他摯愛的妻子Patsy，兩個兒子Hingson和Jackson，一個女兒Patricia，以及四個孫子孫女Anton、Sophy、Byron和Javen，和他的兩個姐妹Lily和Aile，外甥女Carol，以及一眾親戚和朋友，他們將深切懷念他。他的記憶將永遠是所有認識他的人心靈的靈感和愛的源泉。

杰平出生在越南西貢，父母為李杏傳（Hang Ly）和陸喜弟（Nhi Muoi Ly）。他12到16歲時在越南的博愛中學（法語）讀書，後來前往香港在香港基教書院完成高中學業。隨後，他前往美國威斯康星大學麥迪遜分校學習電子工程。為了追求對藝術的熱愛，他最終前往巴黎繼續深造，並在那裡遇到了他的未來妻子。

杰平是許多人的朋友。他性格開朗，總是樂於為別人伸出援手。他以對家庭的奉獻而著稱，尤其熱愛與家人共進週末晚餐，特別是與孫子孫女們的時光。他從不猶豫地在每個週末為孫子孫女們送上無盡的玩具及零食。

杰平的喪禮將於2024年9月12日（星期四）上午10:00在Forest Lawn的禮堂舉行（即2024年9月13日（星期五）香港時間上午1:00）。
