Margaret was born in Three Hills Alberta, on March 28, 1924, the third child of James Francis and Josephine Clark. Margaret was predeceased by her two older brothers, James (Jim) in 1996 and Earl in 1987 and a younger sister, Genevieve in 2003. In 1937 the Clark family moved to Calgary. Following a brief stay in Montreal. Margaret then relocated to Vancouver to join her parents.
In 1959, Margaret embarked on a real estate career where she worked for Mr. Mac Beckhuson of Melton Real Estate Ltd. Mac invited Margaret to Gospel Meetings held by Grace Websdale and Joyce Szakacs. In May 1960 Margaret made her choice to follow this “Way of Life” that she had heard of often and read about, but had never previously understood or seen.
Margaret subsequently moved to Edmonton and continued to work for Melton Real Estate until 1966 when she returned to Vancouver to help her parents. Margaret then joined the law department of MacMillan Bloedel and then was transferred to the Chairman’s office in 1969 where she worked until her retirement in 1987.
In her retirement, Margaret moved to Surrey, B.C., and in later years she selected Fleetwood Villa as her retirement home. Needing additional care, Margaret moved to Brookside Lodge in Langley, where she lived her final days until she passed away on August 24, 2017.
We appreciate that Margaret was faithful to the choice she made in 1960. She lived an inspiring life right up to the end of her days.
