It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Joe left us peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Survived by his loving wife Carla, his mom Loo May, son William (Zenla), granddaughter Zira, brothers Martin (Rosa), Pak (Yukari), sister Mary (Ken), many nephews, nieces and extended family members.
Joe was a loving family man who took an interest in and cared about others. He enjoyed greeting people in their different languages; loved Hawaii and anything to do with it; intensely enjoyed computers, electronics and exotic cars.
Joe will be greatly missed.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 1:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave., Burnaby, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
