November 5th, 1925 – December 31st, 2010
Josephine Marsh passed away peacefully at Burnaby General Hospital on December 31st, 2010. She was predeceased by her husband Clifford Marsh and survived by her sister Mary Davis (Edward) and many nieces and nephews.
Josephine was born November 5th, 1925 in Millerdale, Saskatchewan to her parents, Frederick and Louise Schultz and spent many years located in Burnaby, BC. Josephine always enjoyed a good game of cards with friends and her weekly outings to the Casino. She was affectionately known to most of her friends as either “Aunty” or “Grandma” Jo and could always be counted on for a word of advice or opinion on any matter. Jo was also very fond of music and could often be heard playing her favorite tunes on the organ. She had a very charitable soul and supported a number of charities that held special meaning to her. Josephine made many friends in her life and she will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held for Josephine on Thursday, January 13th, 2011 at 2:00 pm in The Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, followed by light refreshments. (Please follow proceed to the building in the middle of the cemetery)
In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated - these were two of the charities Josephine held in high regard.
“We know you have been feeling tired lately Josephine, so Rest in Peace now”…With Love from your friends and family
Arrangements under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Burnaby, BC.
