Joycelene Alicia Armstrong (Pitkanen)

Also missing Joyce are her 9 Grandchildren & partners, along with 13 Great Grandchildren and one arriving soon.

Predeceased by Mother Alice, Stepdad Ed,

Father Walter, and Stepmom Helen.

Joyce was involved in her children’s activities and sports, coaching female softball and field hockey. Joyce could also be seen driving her children and teammates to sporting events all over the lower mainland.

Our Family loved Lacrosse, and Joyce volunteered her time with the Jr.A Burnaby Cablevision Lacrosse Club on every Sunday evening during the playing season.

In later years Joyce could be found at sporting events cheering on her Grandchildren.

Joyce and Denny’s door was always open welcoming family and friends, and no one left the house hungry, as Joyce loved to cook and entertain.

Joyce loved to travel, go to the casino, play bingo, and spending time at Knouff Lake.

The Family would like to thank all the neighbours on Warwick Ave for helping make Mom & Dad happy and comfortable for the last several years.

Joyce will be sadly missed by all that knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 24th, 2021 from 12pm to 4pm at the Croatian Cultural Centre, Main Auditorium, 3250 Commercial Dr. Vancouver.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canucks Place.
