Mrs. Judy Sou Ying Low

Judy Sou Ying Low (“Judy”) passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026 at Burnaby General Hospital. She was predeceased by Quon Yuen (“Stanley”), her husband of 61 years. She is survived by daughter Pinky, son-in-law Stewart, and grandkids Jonathan & Stephanie; daughter Vickey, and grandkids Joshua & Brandon.

Judy was born in Toy San, Kwangtung, China on July 11, 1943 and immigrated to Canada to be married in Vancouver, BC on February 23, 1964 and later moved to Port Alice, BC to start their family. She was a devoted wife and dedicated mother caring for her two daughters and supporting Stanley, who worked at the local pulp mill for 45 years. With a humble heart, she devoted herself entirely to her family; as a stay-at-home mother, they were always her greatest priority.

After Stanley retired in 1999 they moved down to the Lower Mainland of BC and eventually settled in Burnaby, BC. Judy loved her grandkids and “Poh Poh”, as her grandkids and their friends called her, always had a smile when they came to visit.

Judy will be remembered, loved, and sadly missed by his family and friends.
