

He was a wonderful father, grandfather and dedicated family man.
Kay So is lovingly remembered by his children, Yuk Wan, Shiu Cheung, Yuk Ying, Yuk Gai, and their respective families; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and dear friends.
Kay So was born in Dong Guan China in 1925 and married his wife Yueng Tai in 1947.
Kay So is most remembered by his children for his hard work and dedication for supporting his family. Due to the political hardships in China and hoping for the better of his family, Kay So went to Hong Kong. He worked tirelessly and effortlessly for the needs of his family.
He is most remembered by his grandchildren and great grandchildren for his strong never give up attitude, but also as a loving and caring grandparent. He was instrumental in helping to raise many of his grandchildren and left such a lasting impression on their lives.
Kay So moved to Canada with his wife Yeung Tai and their son Shiu Cheung in 1988 and made his life in Canada until his recent passing.
He was strong willed and very determined until the end, enduring surgery even in his 90’s and thus, we all will always remember his resiliency.
He was a pillar in our family and we all will miss him dearly.
A visitation for Kay will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby.
A funeral service will occur Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm and his graveside service will occur Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 2:30pm in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
