Kiyoshi Higashitani

He was born in Pitt Meadows on April 4,1931. He lived in Japan for 20 years. During his residency, he mastered his trade in carpentry and left for Canada. After finding a job in Canada, he went on vacation to Japan to get married. He returned to Canada to start a new life with his new bride. They had two sons who are now both married with children and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, two sons, two daughters-in-laws, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

There will be a public visitation on September 5th from 7-9 PM at Ocean View in Burnaby. His memorial will be held on September 6th at Ocean View at 10 AM.
