Kamila & Dave,

Our hearts our with you during this difficult time.  But remember that Konrad made a difference to all the lives that he touched...he taught us about courage, faith and strength, but most of all he taught us about unending love.

Konrad's short life has impacted me forever.He has taught me that life is short and we should live it with a child-like faith as he had.I learned to love him like my own and it wasn't hard because he brought me joy and hope despite of his condition. I share his happiness and when he's in pain, I share his pain.

His laughs and smiles bring me comfort and joy.But this is enough to bring my spirits up. I have been praying and hoping that everything will be well,but the Lords will still prevails.One thing is sure, that I will see him again in God's appointed time.

Kamila and Dave, we are so sorry to hear about Konrad's passing.  Our family has thought about you often since Konrad's initial diagnosis.  Knowing this was coming does not make it any less heartbreaking.  However short Konrad's life was, the world is a better place as a result of him having been a part of it.  I am honoured to have met him and shared briefly in his energy and laughter.  Konrad's struggle and your family's courage through it will also serve as a lasting inspiration to our family and to many others.  As a small example, Konrad was the principal inspiration for Stevi's and my participation in the Ride2Survive 400km bike ride from Kelowna to Delta in support of the Candian Cancer Society in June both last year and this year.
