Regretfully have not been able to get to Vancouver in a long while. My memory of Mr Lee Pon is that of a kindly father, a hard-working pragmatic man who was also a keen tennis player. 
Condolences to Mrs Lee Pon and family, rest assured Mr Lee Pon is at peace. A donation will be made to Hong Ning home for the aged.

I have very fond memories of Uncle Pon.   I have known Clive and the Pon family since Grade 8 and they have always welcomed me as one of their own.  I will always remember Uncle Pon as a firm and wise father, as well as a fierce competitor on the tennis court.   His legacy and memories will live on.

Rosemary.   I've been thinking of you all a lot over the last couple of weeks. When I think of Biu Sook, I always remember what a strong grip and handshake he had; Joe used to call him the Chinese Ivan Lendl. 😊 I also think about the family lore of his "escape" from South Africa to Mauritius all those years ago. I truly admire his strength and determination in building a life in Canada and the strong cultural and family values he instilled in you and your siblings. May you find comfort in your memories and peace in your grief. Love to you all...
