Lillian Olivant

June 22, 1948 – October 17, 2025.

It is with profound grief that I announce the passing of my dear sister and best friend, Lillian. With the merciful assistance of MAID and surrounded by friends and family, Lillian passed away peacefully in her home on October 17th, which was her wish. Lillian suffered with stage four Lymphoma for many months.

Lillian will be missed by her cousins, Dawn Jensen and Joy Callaghan and by her niece, Kristine Fowles also her stepsons, Kevin, Chris and Shawn Gilmore and their partners, as well as many good friends.

Lillian will be remembered for her indomitable spirit, quick wit, and great sense of humour. We are very grateful for the love, support and care that Lillian received from her close friends Alison Chernoff and MaryLou Thomas.

Rest in everlasting peace, Dear Sister, Love Jeanette.

There will be no funeral at Lillian's request. Cremation by Bell & Burnaby Funeral Home. Her ashes will be interred at the Boal Chapel in North Vancouver and a plaque in Lillian’s name will be included in the memorial book there.
