

Mr. Linus Siu-Yuen Siu, born on May 18, 1937, passed away on November 3, 2025, in Burnaby, BC. He will be remembered as a cherished father, grandfather and husband.
Linus was predeceased by his beloved wife, Agnes. He is survived by his children, Victor (Raylene) and Winnie (Ray), as well as his grandchildren, Ethan, Caleb, Laina, and Lauren.
Linus was born in Hong Kong. He was the youngest of seven children born to Siu Chim Kwai and Wong Lai Sheung. After completing his schooling, he worked for several years managing a zipper factory in Hong Kong.
In 1959, Linus met his future wife, Agnes So, while attending advanced English classes at night school. In 1967, he accepted an opportunity to immigrate to Canada, assisting a Montreal company in establishing a zipper finishing production line. The East Coast winters proved to be challenging, and after fulfilling his commitments in Montreal, Linus and Agnes relocated to Vancouver.
Upon settling in Vancouver, Linus continued to use his manufacturing expertise, working with various drafting, mill working, moulding, and die casting firms. In 1980, he took the entrepreneurial step of launching his own wholesale business which he ran until his retirement.
His guidance, strength and love will be missed by all who knew him.
