Throughout her life Lorraine had a wide circle of friends from her varied interests and activities including; bridge, golf, gardening, cross country skiing, her pals “The bus ladies” and music, especially the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and the Music in the Morning Society. Lorraine was a sports fan and enjoyed watching her children and later her grandchildren participate in swimming, soccer, hockey, lacrosse, rugby and basketball. She keenly followed the Olympics, professional golf, football and hockey. Lorraine enjoyed travel, including her golf trips to South Africa and Australia.
An Alzheimer's diagnosis 12 years ago did not diminish her naturally positive nature and, while her memory faded, her joy for life remained. Lorraine's was a life well lived.
