Margaret was born on October 19, 1935 in Canton, China and was the 11th child of a family of 13 children. She was raised in Fiji and married her first love, Keith Raphael Lee, on May 21, 1955. Margaret and Keith and their two sons, Raphael (Ray) and Keith Jr., immigrated from Fiji to Canada in 1965 for a better future for the family.
She will be dearly missed by her sons Ray (Mona) and Keith (fiancée Marsha) and her grandchildren Justin, Katherine (fiancé Simon) and Quinton. Margaret will be missed by her brother David (Mae) in Seattle along with her many relatives and close friends.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Margaret’s life will be held at the Chapel at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 1:00 pm.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Tri-Cities Community Dialysis Unit in Coquitlam, BC for the wonderful care and friendship they provided to Margaret.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Burnaby General Hospital.
