Mrs. Margaret Bower

Margaret Bower (nee Waithe), 96, originally of Edmonton Alberta, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2023, in Burnaby, BC. She was born on April 15, 1927, in Edmonton, Alberta. Margaret was a beloved mother, sister & aunt.

Margaret was known for her generosity and kind nature. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was a dedicated homemaker and a wonderful mother to her son Jamie.

Margaret is survived by her son Jamie, sister Shirley (Ed), sister Rita and nieces Donna (Brad), Darlene and Desiree. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, mother Gertrude, father George, brother Barry, sister Marilyn and niece Diane.

Services will not be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to BC Cancer or the Kidney Foundation of Canada in Margaret's memory.

Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Burnaby, BC, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
