Mrs. Mari Oy Wong

Mrs. Mari Oy Wong (Nee Lee) of Vancouver B.C. passed away on September 27th, 2015 peacefully and in grace at the age of 88 years. Her loving family and friends were continually by her side. Funeral services will be held at Ocean View Funeral Home and Burial Park 4000 Imperial Street in Burnaby on Wednesday October 7th, 2015 at 11.00am. Thanks to the loving staff at Royal Arch Masonic Home, where Mari resided for the past three and a half years. Predeceased by her husband Art, brothers Henry and Albert Lee, Mari is survived by her son Gerek, daughter Cindy (Harvey), sister Kareen (Dennis) and brother Henry (Yvonne), also her grandchildren Briton, Tara, Justin and Brendan, nieces and nephews Margaret, Lucille, Lillian (Percy), Brian, Elaine (Dave), Gayle (Ozzie), Ray, Darlene (David), Darrell (Denise), Lisa (Leigh), Darren (Tanya), Della, Derek and many grandnieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations to the B.C. Parkinsons Society, www.parkinson.bc.ca would be appreciated.

Life is created. This is most precious. We travel forth innocent and grow with joys and adventures, adversities and disappointments, all the while moving forward to strive for improvement and success. Through our path we are fortunate to have the gift of love by our side and we meet friends and family who come and go and also stay forever. They are all cherished.

We do our best as we know how. We learn and teach our children the best as we know how. We love as best as we know how. Mom gave us her best and for that my brother, Gerek and I would not want to be anyone else in this entire world but ourselves. Our undying love and thanks to you Mom.
