Maria Flora De Leon

Maria Flora B. De Leon, age 95, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 11:30 pm at Brock Fahrni Pavilion in Vancouver, British Columbia. She was born on November 19, 1928 in Bacolor, Pampanga, Philippines to Tirso Balingit and Feliza Sicat. She married Ismael De Leon on March 24, 1948, in the Philippines, and they had eight children who loved her dearly. Flora lived a purposeful life by extending help to others. She is the epitome of grace, kindness, and positivity. She also had an exquisite sense of style. She was crowned Mrs. Valentine and has achieved many awards, always considered "darling of the crowd."

She was an energetic grandma to her grandchildren who always loved singing and dancing. She was truly the life of the party and was a ray of sunshine for everyone who got to know her. She embedded a forever pinch of happiness in the hearts of those she loved and has left a legacy that will always bring a smile deep within to those who knew her.

A funeral service is scheduled at Ocean View Funeral Home for Saturday, September 14th, 2024, at 1:00pm, followed by a committal service at Ocean View Burial Park on September 14th, 2024 at 2:30pm.
