Maria Rosa Luca, born August 10, 1934 in Mammola, Calabria, Italy, passed away June 11, 2024 in Vancouver, British Columbia at the age of 89 years. Maria is survived by her loving daughter Franca (John) Callaghan, her grandchildren Angelo Sacco, Matt (Danielle) Callaghan, Ashleigh Luca, Anthony Luca, Devon Luca, and her 4 great grandchildren Valentina, Ava, Cruz, Halle, many other family and friends. We are grateful to Villa Carital for caring for mom since 2013. Thank you to Vancouver General Hospital for their compassionate care. Funeral service will be held at Bell Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, British Columbia, June 21, 2024 at 11:00am.
