Mrs. Maria Peter

It is with prfound sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Peter on Sunday November 27th, 2011. Maria grew up in downtown Budapest and immigrated to British Columbia Canada during the Hungarian Revolution with her husband Jeno. She upgraded her education (in her new english language) and became a dental technician who proudly served Canada's veterans for many years. She will be greatly missed by her husband Jeno of 56 years and her children Bob Peter (Andrea) and Mary Owen who love her so very much. Maria immensely loved her four grandchildren Dale, David, Danielle and Ryan who greatly loved her in return. Maria is also survived by her kind brother inlaw Sandor Peter (Lilian) and nieces Laura Kitely (Fred) and Lynda Pattie (Scott) and Maria's sister Olga Mate (Tom) and her nephews Joseph Benchetlen (Anico) and Leslie Mate (Connie). She will also be very missed by her many friends who also loved the wonderful person that Maria was. Maria will always be loved and will be forever remembered. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC on Thursday, December 8th, 2011 at 1:30 pm. Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
