July 25, 1931 - July 23, 2021

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Chisholm.

Jean was born in Kapuskasing, Ontario on July 25, 1931 and left this world peacefully with family by her side on July 23, 2021.

Jean was one of 3 siblings of Donalda Langevin of Chicoutimi, Quebec, and Adelard-Yvon Tremblay of Gr. Roches, Quebec.

In 2015, Jean’s loving husband of 61 years (Ronald Joseph Chisholm) predeceased her.

Jean is survived by her 5 children: Debra McFadyen (Donald), Diana Byhre (Brian), Daniel Chisholm (Jo), Leonard Chisholm, and Judy Tjomsaas (Rolf); 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and brothers Dennis Tremblay (Betty) and Morris Tremblay (Lorraine – May 19, 1943 – January 11, 2018).

Jean will be remembered as a kind, gentle, patient, and happy soul who loved unconditionally. She dedicated her life to her family and was a bright light for those she touched - she saw the good in everyone. She will be deeply missed by her family and those who knew her.

Special thanks to Dr. Kiani for the care and support of Mom, and our deep appreciation to the angels who looked out for her at Dufferin Care Centre in Coquitlam.

A private prayer service and burial will be held on August 13, 2021 in Chapel Courtyard at Ocean View Funeral Home, Burnaby, BC. Father Don Larson of All Saints Roman Catholic Church will lead the service.
