Mario Alfredo Aguirre Calix was born in San Salvador, El Salvator on February 2, 1966. He passed away January 7, 2026 in Surrey at the age of 59 years. Mario was predeceased by his parents Alfredo and Irma Aguirre Calix. He is survived by his loving family sister Ana Susana Aguirre, Dario Sr, Dario Jr, Cynthia, Mike, Camila, Antonella, Markus and Cecilia. Also, family in Australia: Nadira Merino Aquirre (sister), Mauricio Sr, kids: Nadhyra, Jonathan, Karinna, Mauricio Jr. Family in Spain: Irma Cañizares Aguirre (sister), Paco, Vanesa and children, Patty and family, Frank and family. Viewing for family and friends will be held at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, British Columbia on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. Mass of Christian burial will be he at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver, British Columbia on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 11:00AM, Burial will follow at Gardens of Gethsemani, 15694 32 Ave. Surrey, British Columbia.
